Paint on new metal surfaces

Before painting the metal, the surface must be prepared by cleaning the surface with Peralin Metal Cleaner (MXC-1). Apply 1 coat metal cleaner with a brush and leave for 10 to 15 minutes. This is necessary as new metal has an oily protective layer that needs to be removed first. Wash with clean water until all dirt and cleaner is removed. Repeat process if necessary. An anti-rust primer is necessary to prevent rust to form. Apply 1 coat Peralin Anti-Rust Primer (MCWP-1) and leave to dry for 2 to 3 hours.
